GGSL is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to coach and provide positive learning and fun life experiences for our children.  Previous coaching experience is not necessary.  We encourage adults who can commit to at least one practice and one game per week from May through July, and reflect GGSL philosophy and it’s Mission, to volunteer to coach. (You do not have to have a daughter in the league to volunteer to coach.) We do, however, strongly discourage head coaching multiple teams so that you can provide your team your best efforts and commitment.

All coaches must follow GGSL rules and expectations, as they are representatives of the league. Disciplinary procedures are in place for coaches who fail to do so. Each coach is evaluated at season end by their team’s parents, which may determine their eligibility to coach again in GGSL. If you express an interest in coaching, you will be contacted by the appropriate age group commissioner in December and asked to make a commitment to coach. If you haven’t been contacted by January, please call your age group commissioner.
